Leeston Rugby Club – 2026 Registrations Now Open

Registrations for the 2026 rugby season are now open.

For the 2026 season, NZ Rugby has introduced Rugby Xplorer as the official registration system for all players, coaches, and volunteers.

Some users find it easier to download the Rugby Xplorer App rather than using the website.
The app is available on Google Play and the App Store.

Who Needs to Register

All players, coaches, managers, referees, and volunteers must register using Rugby Xplorer.

⚠️ Players aged 13 and under
A parent or caregiver must create an account first and then register their child.

How to Create a Rugby Xplorer Account

1. Go to xplorer.rugby or download the Rugby Xplorer App

2. Click Create a Rugby Xplorer account

3. Complete the registration form

4. Click Next

5. Check your email for a verification message

6. Click Verify Email

7. Set your password

You can also complete this process directly in the Rugby Xplorer app.

How to Register with Leeston Rugby Club

1. Open the Rugby Xplorer App or Rugby Portal

2. Sign in

3. Click Register

4. Click Find a Club

5. Select who you want to register

6. Enter Leeston and click Search

7. Select Leeston (Ellesmere) and click Next

8. Choose your registration role, type, and duration

9. Enter personal details

10. Enter emergency contact details

11. Answer any custom questions

12. Agree to the National Registration Terms and Conditions
